I'm going to speak to the gents on this one...

It's not about what you've done or not done.
It's not about what you would or wouldn't do.
It's about what you're capable of.
And I don't care what your size or temperament is, I assure you: you're capable of some pretty horrific shit.
Now, here in our first world civilized society, you have the luxury of not having to think about such things. Or regard them as long ago, far away, and not you disneyfied versions.
Your historically preferred quarry can only do so to their extreme peril. And they know it.
Convinced you're the chosen one who never would do such things? Bully for you. Welcome to the future.
But realize that nobody is obliged to take your word for it. Claiming to do so is only words, and talk is cheaper than usual when you're close enough to smell the pheromones. Such things require to be proven perpetually. And the only reward deserved for doing so is the knowledge that you have.
That said, I can say from experience that it's worth the effort.
Keep all of the above in mind.
