"You're more likely to be (act of evil) by (group you oppose) than (group you support)"
To manipulate your audience, insert carefully chosen words into each category.
Doesn't matter if they're yelling "Mericuh!" or "Coexist!" they're still hosing you.
That said.
If refugees are your current boogeyman, you're barking up the wrong tree.
Are Salafist takfiri terrorists a problem?
Yes they are.
A growing problem?
Yes they are.
Will restricting refugees have a positive effect?
Not really.
Looking back over the last five years or so, we've had a grand total of two attacks that were both One, Salafist takfiri in nature, and Two, perpetrated by refugees.
Both of them last year. A stabbing at a mall in Minnesota and a combined car/knife attack at OSU.
The first was a Kenyan refugee, the latter was a Somali.
They didn't kill anyone, injured a grand total of 21 people between them, and were both shot and killed by police within minutes.
Britain has yet to suffer an attack by a refugee in the last five years (They've been attacked three times: Manchester, London Bridge, and Lee Rigby's murder. Native-born or naturalized citizens were responsible in every case.)
France? Gets attacked a lot for their size. But either by French citizens or citizens of former colonies (usually Tunisia or Algeria).
Even Daesh admits they don't bother going into refugee populations. Why fucking bother, when they can just radicalize an already-here citizen over the internet? (Which they've been doing successfully for over a decade).
So there's that.
